of inappropriate e-mails to jill kelly. she is the florida woman whose complaints to the fbi eventually led to petraeus' resignation. in a new twist to the david petraeus sex scandal, the pentagon says that the top commander in afghanistan, general john allen, is under investigation, for sending allegedly improper e-mails to jill kelly. kelly is the florida woman who triggered the investigation and ultimately forced petraeus to resign. the pentagon is reviewing between 20,000 and 30,000 documents involved. allen, meanwhile, denies any wrongdoing and remains in his current position. late monday, agents spent nearly five hours at the home of petraeus' former mistress, paula broadwell, leaving early this morning with several boxes. this, after the fbi told abc news they discovered thousands of e-mails between broadwell and petraeus, detailing the affair. >> in his universe, this moral failing is unacceptable and renders him unworthy of continuing this position of responsibility for the nation. >> reporter: the affair came to light over the summer, as part of an fbi investigation that began aft

report from bartow. all eyes on florida tonight. how is election day going there? >> reporter: well, thankfully so far smoothly. we've been in the news during past elections for all the wrong reasons, but this time around, no reports of major trouble anywhere around 9xzthe state. we are here in polk county, part of the i-4 corridor. a key part of the state that runs from tampa to orlando to daytona beach. itself has been key in past elections, and will no doubt be key again. there were some weather issues in pinellas county that caused a power outage. this is interesting. some robotic calls went out from the supervisor of elections in pinellas county telling people that they had until 7:00 tomorrow night to vote. obviously that was a mistake. those calls were supposed to end last night. but maybe to tell you how things are going in florida, one supervisor of elections sent out a tweet that said he got a complaint that they used blue tape to draw a line in one of the polling places, and that was sort of a subliminal message to vote democrat. so if that's the worst problem be we have

a bank lead police on a wild chase. those robbers take off down a busy highway in florida. dodging and weaving in and out of every lane. this caught on camera. the driver slams into the back of another car then swerves into on coming traffic. the men flee on foot and trying to scale a fence. they are trying their best to get away but police grabbed them ask all three under arrest. >>> a police officer comes within seconds of possibly losing his life the whole thing caught on camera. dashcam video shows the car coming right at him. then swerving to avoid a total head-on collision. the officer had just gotten back into his vehicle. if he had taken a few seconds longer to get inside, he might have been killed. the officer had minor injuries and there's no word on what caused the driver to lose control of his car. >>> there is a gun range where you can go and there are no paper targets. instead you actually get to shoot at other people. combat city the in florida and -- is in florida. first you get chicked for hiddens -- checked for hidden weapons and ammunition and then your gun is mo

weather in the fwraet lakes, parts of the midwest but also into florida and that's going to be very interesting to watch unfold because that is going to be the start of our nor'easter as it develops on tuesday. let's take a look at some specific forecasts for you. in ohio, right now weather is not going to be a huge problem. we've got sunshine from columbus to cleveland to cincinnati. it will be definitely chilly if you're going to cast your vote early on. temperatures just climb intoog the mid 40s to near 50 degrees across those cities. let's head to wis con sirngs kind of a different story here looking at a chance for chilly showers here especially early in mad son, green way, as well, wouldn't be spriedz to see a few snow flakes mixed in and will wau key also looking at a chance for showers and temperatures near 40. again tas key state of fla tla that could be looking at significant weather here. tallahassee looking at showers early on. miami is looking pretty good with temps in the 80s but orlando looking at showers and thunderstorms and temperatures again into the mid 70s. kind
